Welcome to you and your wonderful baby for a fantastic course, where we offer training both in the water and in the group exercise room.

Book the camp here

Bring your baby to a fantastic post-birth course at DGI Byen, where training sessions take place both in the water and in our group exercise room.

After giving birth, it’s important to rebuild your body’s strength and pelvic floor, and this bootcamp focuses on integrating your baby into the workouts, creating a close bond between you and your child while you work on restoring your physical fitness.

You will be guided by a physiotherapist through gentle and effective exercises aimed at restoring the strength and stability of your pelvic floor.

The bootcamp also includes baby swimming, where you can enjoy the water with your child and create fun experiences together. This course is not only an opportunity to rebuild your body but also to share the experience with other new mothers, both on land and in the water.

We look forward to welcoming both you and your wonderful baby to DGI Byen.

Does this sound like something for you? Hurry and book your spot here.  (Please note that you need to create a membership profile to book the camp.)

About Physiotherapist Nicola Franks-Ferrera

Nicola holds a professional bachelor's degree in physiotherapy from Copenhagen University College and has been a registered yoga teacher since 2017.

As an instructor, Nicola emphasizes creating a safe and supportive atmosphere where her students can explore and develop their body and mind. Her teaching method is not just physical training but an integrated experience that promotes both physical and mental well-being.

Nicola incorporates elements of yoga and Pilates as training components and sources of inspiration in her teaching, using them to strengthen the body’s core, create balance, and improve body awareness.

Having experienced pregnancy and childbirth herself, Nicola has added an extra dimension to her teaching by focusing on building a strong pelvic floor as an essential part of core training and strengthening the connection to one’s body. This reflects her personal experience and understanding of the importance of maintaining a strong connection to the body through the different phases of life.

Nicola's classes are not just training sessions but a journey toward wholeness, where her students are encouraged to listen to their bodies, challenge their limits, and embrace a holistic approach to health and well-being.
